In honor of my Birthday today I thought I would compare two songs that metion my nickname. Most of my friends and family call me Annie. A variation of my middle name Anne. During my high school years the band Alien Ant Farm remade the Michael Jackson song Smooth Criminal. The songs are very different as well as the videos.
I really like the way AAF hinted at some of Michaels dance moves in their video. They also hint at things Michael Jackson is known for. Take a look at the Alien Ant Farm video, can you see the various odes to Michael Jackson? Comment and let me know what you see!
Happy Birthday! Yes Alien Ant Farm was very popular when they remade smooth criminal by Michael Jackson. However, some of there other songs are pretty good, to bad that they are not a bad no longer. Although I must say I did like AAF Smooth Criminal much better than Michael Jackson's. Neat Blog!
ReplyDeleteHappy late Birthday!! All I can say is I wish I could dance like that little kid and Michael. That video by AAF was easily the craziest music video I have ever seen. It was great! You never knew where to focus your eyes!
